Our unique technology can be used for a variety of products, applications and services. We are looking for an experienced candidate to setup, run and manage our marketing group.
As a senior member of the management team the VP of marketing will be involved in defining the company strategy, be part of the decision making process and will have the full responsibility for defining and executing a complete marketing plan.
The VP of marketing will be responsible for recruiting and managing the complete marketing team. This includes a product marketing group, a channel marketing group, a market communications group, PR activities, customer relations, trade shows, etc.
The VP of engineering will report directly to the CEO.

Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a VP of marketing in the software industry or 5 years of marketing and management-consulting experience in a top consulting firm
- Proven track record in high-tech environment, start-up preferable
- Proven experience marketing new technologies to new customers
- Clear competence in Communications strategies
- Proven track record of business development activities/partnerships
- Good understanding of the corporate and telecommunications (software) industries
- Experience in defining and executing marketing plans for a new, state-of-the-art technology
- Good knowledge of the various channels (system integrators, VARs, OEMs, etc)
- Good knowledge of the telecommunications and service providers markets
- Experience in setting up and managing marketing teams
- Good communications skills
- Ability to work under budget and personnel contraints
- Desire to work in start up environment
- Demonstrated success striking partnerships, either co-development, marketing, or other
Online entertainment company is looking to fill the following positions:
Vice President, Sales
Qualifications:
- 7-10 years total experience (2 yrs online).
- Sales experience of syndication content (preferably entertainment-oriented) to ONLINE publications/customers.
- Ideal candidates come from Variety or Reuters.
- Relationships and access to high level, decision-making customers (at online publications) for entertainment content syndication sales.
- Currently doing online content syndication sales, but has background experience in traditional print content syndication sales.
- Managerial experience in overseeing a sales staff and achieving sales goals.
- Some experience in sales of online advertising and sponsorships.
- Critical Qualifications: online content syndication experience and high-level relationships with online syndication customers who purchase entertainment content. Send Resume.
Vice President, Editorial
Qualifications:
- 5-10 yrs experience Editor (or Senior-level Editor) for mass-consumer TV entertainment publication.
- Ideal candidates come from Soap Opera Digest or TV Guide.
- Experience and relationships with networks and show-owner publicity departments.
- Experience writing about television shows for large publication. Note: experience at an online publication is not necessary.
- Managerial experience overseeing a team of writers. Experience meeting publication deadlines.
